Mid-Level Engineer

As their engineering team expands, they are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to contribute towards the development and architecture of their platform. You will be joining a rapidly growing team as a mid-level Engineer with immediate opportunity for to impact the direction of core products and services within the company.


• Build scalable, performant, secure and well-tested APIs

• Maintain their entirely serverless architecture built on AWS using Node.js

• Contribute towards the management and integration of third party services

• Continually advance performance of their platform

The background they are looking for

• Experience working with complexed back-end systems

• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch and VPC

• Strong background working with JavaScript and Node.js

• Extensive understanding and commercial exposure to testing your own code

• Integration of third party APIs in a commercial production environment

• Experience working in a scaling environment

• Passion for delivering a product that has a significant social impact
