To take full advantage of this position, they are expanding their Research team in LA with multiple Research Engineers and Scientists to contribute to novel AI-based graphics technology deployed at scale to turn science into unique business products.
Requirements
To succeed, you should have:
Demonstrable research experience (academic or industry) with Deep Learning and Computer Graphics in at least five of the following:
Neural networks and transfer learning
Generative/adversarial models esp. for photo-realistic human synthesis
Neural or NeRF rendering
Photogrammetry esp. for 3D human digitization
Physics-based rendering and relighting
Performance capture or 3D character animation
3D modelling techniques such as polygonal modelling, voxelization, implicit surfaces, and point-based graphics
Digital geometry processing
Scholarly work in CG and ML venues, e.g., Siggraph, Eurographics, 3DV, ICML, BMVC, etc.
Good technical background in statistical methods, linear algebra, and numerical optimization
Excellent coding skills in Python
Proficiency with DL frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras
Good communication skills to collaborate in a team with researchers, ML engineers, and VFX artists
MS or Ph.D. in Visual Computing, Computer Graphics, Machine Learning, or related fields
You’ll shine if you have experience with:
Recurrent and visual attention models
Developing digital human or photo-realistic rendering-based tools at scale for AAA games, AR/VR, or VFX
Differentiable renderers, such as PyTorch3D, Mitsuba2, TensorFlow Graphics, or Taichi Graphics
C++ and CUDA
Modern shading languages, such as GLSL and HLSL
Cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
Virtual environments such as Anaconda
3D creation and VFX tools such as Maya, Blender, or Unreal Engine
