To take full advantage of this position, they are expanding their Research team in LA with multiple Researcher hires to advance the state of the art and bring unique scientific value to their business and products.
To succeed, you should have:
Demonstrable research experience with a strong publication record in major computer vision and machine learning venues and journals
Familiarity with modern computer vision techniques, such as 3D vision, generative image synthesis, 2D/3D face (landmarks) tracking, and semantic video segmentation
Solid background in statistical methods and numerical optimization
Good knowledge in applied machine learning and deep learning esp. generative/adversarial models
Experience with domain adaptation techniques
Excellent coding skills in Python and good experience with DL frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras
Outstanding communication skills to collaborate in a team with Research/ML Engineers and VFX artists
Ph.D. or Postdoctoral researcher in Visual Computing, Computer Vision, or related fields
You’ll shine if you have experience with:
Self and cross-domain attention models
Multimodal and fusion techniques
Differentiable programming frameworks such as JAX and Taichi
Developing tools or solutions for real-world machine vision problems via an internship, full-time job, or contributions in open source repositories (e.g. GitHub)
Cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
Tracking and VFX tools such as Nuke (Keentools), After Effects, and Mocha Pro
