As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in a pioneering fashion technology startup, working on a cloud-based platform. You will be involved in reimagining and rebuilding the future of the fashion industry, from supporting digital design processes to optimizing manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Architect platform solutions
Design relational data models and build Postgres+GraphQL database solutions
Utilize Machine Learning for automation and optimization
Develop, deploying, and maintaining back-end processes in AWS cloud and Kubernetes clusters
Integrate data with no-code applications and workflows (Airtable)
Build or support ETL pipelines
Build event-driven systems that enable scalable, observable and adaptive end-end processes
Understand complex processes and operations to build new interfaces and improve process automation
Requirements
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field
Excellent knowledge of back-end programming languages
Strong knowledge of SQL
Experience with NoSQL and other data processing technologies (Redis, Mongo, Kafka)
Experience with cloud/containerized environments like AWS and Kubernetes
Knowledge of common programming design patterns and best practices
Experience with common software development tools and services
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills
Experience with machine learning and/or constraint optimization
